Viktor hits like a freight train once he scales, but he is one of the most immobile mages in the game. He has no dash and no escape outside Flash, and his only crowd control is the Gravity Field, a zone on the ground that slowly ramps to a stun, which means a mobile diver can dash through it or leap past it long before it ever locks them down. His Death Ray and Chaos Storm are scary but telegraphed, and early on he is mana hungry and weak until his evolutions come online. To beat Viktor, bring a champion who can close the gap and kill him before he reacts, dodge or outrange his Death Ray, and deny him the safe farming he needs to scale. When you pick Viktor, you are accepting that anything with a dash and burst will be jumping on top of you, so you respect assassins and play for the late game.
