Singed's whole game is movement, so the way to beat him is to take that away. He has no dash and no burst: his only lockdown is Fling, a short range melee toss, and Mega Adhesive, a thrown patch of ground that slows and grounds people. If you can stick to him with your own gap closer, pull him back when he tries to run, or simply out trade and out sustain him so the poison never matters, he falls apart. Champions who can catch him without chasing through his cloud, or who out damage and out heal his poison in a straight fight, give him real trouble, especially early before his Insanity Potion and tank items come online. When you pick Singed, you are betting you can kite forever, so respect anyone with a pull, a hard lock, or enough sustain to just ignore your poison and keep swinging.
