Naafiri is one of the easiest assassins to start a fight with, but that simplicity is also her weakness. She has no hard crowd control at all, just a slow on her Hounds' Pursuit dash, so she cannot lock anyone down or peel for herself. Her dogs are her damage and her durability, and they can be cleared by waveclear and area damage before a fight even starts. She also commits hard: once she dashes in, she has very little to get back out if the kill does not happen fast. The way to beat her is to deny the clean single target all in she needs, kill or scatter her Packmates, and bring a slippery escape or a hard lockdown that her kit cannot answer. When you pick Naafiri, you are accepting that elusive targets and out sustaining bruisers will give you trouble, so you want a game where you can isolate squishies in the open.
