Ziggs hits like an artillery battery, but he is one of the most immobile mages in the game. His only movement tool is the Satchel Charge hop, a single self knockback, so once that is on cooldown he is stuck. His damage is all skillshots: Bouncing Bomb, the Minefield, and the Mega Inferno Bomb all have to land, and a slippery target can dodge most of it. He has no dash, no tether, and only the Minefield slow and the Satchel knockback for crowd control, which means anything fast can close the gap before he can answer. To beat Ziggs, bring mobility to dodge his poke and get on top of him, or out range and out scale his artillery so his poke stops mattering. When you pick Ziggs, you are betting on landing long range skillshots from safety, so respect anyone who can run him down the moment he whiffs.
