Xerath hits from across the map, but that reach hides one giant weakness: he is glued to the floor. He has no dash and no escape beyond Flash, so his only way to keep you off him is Shocking Orb, a single skillshot stun that gets longer the further it travels and does almost nothing point blank. If you dodge it or simply walk through it, he is a defenseless squishy mage with a slow Q to charge and nothing to save himself.
