Varus hits like a truck from range, but the cracks are easy to find: he has no dash, no escape, and no way to peel for himself if you ever get on top of him. His charged Piercing Arrow is slow to wind up and easy to read, and his root, Chain of Corruption, is a long but slow traveling skillshot that he has to commit before it spreads to anyone.
