Urgot is a monster in a prolonged fight, but he is slow and clumsy outside of one. His only real gap closer is Disdain, the short E dash that flips a target behind him, and the moment he activates Purge his own movement speed drops while he is locked into firing. That makes him easy to kite if you have the range or the mobility to stay out of his shotgun legs and his chaingun. His big swing also depends on landing the E flip and then getting his Fear Beyond Death drill onto a target below the health threshold, so anyone who can survive that window or simply refuses to drop low is a nightmare for him. To beat Urgot, out sustain his trades, out scale his mid game, or punish how immobile he is once Purge has him rooted in place. When you pick him, you are accepting that durable bullies who outlast you and slippery champions who never let you commit will both give you trouble.
