Kayle is the most punishable champion in the game for the first fifteen minutes. Early on she is a melee auto attacker with no dash, no real range, and no hard crowd control beyond the slow on her Q, Radiant Blast, so she has to walk up and risk herself just to farm. Her only defensive tool is her ultimate, Divine Judgment, which makes a target briefly invulnerable, and that does not come online until level six. The way to beat Kayle is to abuse that helpless early window: dive her, out trade her, and deny her the experience she desperately needs before her level spikes turn her into a monster. Aggressive melee duelists and anything that can all in through her sustain make her life miserable. When you pick Kayle, you are betting you can survive a brutal early game to reach a god tier late game, so respect anyone who can simply end the lane before you scale.
