Anivia is incredibly hard to kill but easy to neutralize, and that is the whole story of countering her. Her Flash Frost stun is a slow, telegraphed projectile that anyone paying attention can sidestep, and without that stun or a chill from her storm her Frostbite does only half its damage. She has no dash and no escape, so anything that locks her down hard or out ranges her poke gives her fits. She is also brutally mana hungry, especially while her ultimate is draining her, so punishing her empty bar early sets her behind. Her Rebirth egg buys her a second life, but a burst threat that simply kills the egg, or a hard lock that holds her through it, turns her best trick into a death sentence. When you pick into Anivia, you want to either dodge her one stun and bully her, or bring lockdown she cannot answer.
